• Soft HR Foam Top Layer: Provides comfort and support while incorporating a pre-ischial contour for pelvic stability and an abductor/adductor contour to help promote midline leg positioning. The foam is made with Ultra-Fresh™ for antimicrobial and odor protection.
• Visco-Elastic Ischial Relief Insert: Molded visco foam insert is anatomically targeted to the ischial and sacral area, helping provide immersion and pressure relief around sensitive bony prominences.
• Firm HR Foam Base Layer: Provides structural support and durability, with a trochanteric shelf for hip stability, waterfall front edge for comfort behind the knees, and rear radius for sacral support.

The Matrx Vi Cushion includes a moisture-resistant, ultra-breathable Meshtex™ material outer cover designed for daily wheelchair use. A slip-resistant base and hook-and-loop fastener strips help keep the cushion positioned securely on the wheelchair seat, while the lifting strap makes handling and repositioning easier.

For users or care environments with specific cover preferences, upgradable outer cover options are available, including moisture-resistant Startex™ fabric and wipeable Startex™ Infection-Control material. The moisture-resistant inner cover wipes clean and includes a zipper for access to the cushion core, allowing cushion modifications when clinically appropriate.
