Product warranty information

WEAR AND TEAR

Aracent Healthcare takes pride in providing the best quality products for its customers. Although we strive to deliver the best-in-class parts and equipment, we recognize that certain items are considered wear items by nature and will not be covered under the applicable product warranty, except for defects in materials or workmanship. Specific items and components include but are not limited to; all upholstery items including seats and back upholstery, arm and calf pads, mattresses, cushions, wheels, tires, and casters, batteries, ambulatory rubberized tips & grips, joysticks or handle overlays and inductive rubberized protective boots.

Aracent Healthcare reserves the right to ask for any item to be returned that has an alleged defect in materials or workmanship. Refer to the user manual for specific information concerning a certain product.

WARRANTIES

Each product offered by Aracent Healthcare is built to exacting standards and carefully inspected prior to shipment. The offered warranty is an expression of each manufacturer's confidence in their materials and workmanship, and an assurance to the consumer of years of dependable service. Each product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for various time periods. Refer to the warranty packaged with each product to determine the exact coverage. 

During the warranty period, any defective product will be repaired or replaced, at the manufacturer's option. The warranty does not include any labor incurred in the replacement part installation or repair of a defective product.

Each warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A copy of the Bill of Sale issued to the purchaser of a product may be required prior to processing a warranty claim.

The warranty does not cover products or parts that have been misused from their intended purpose, abused, altered, not properly maintained as per the user manual, failed due to Wear and Tear, or reasons otherwise stated in the below policy.

3 Years: Side frame and cross members (Standard models)

Limited Lifetime: Side frame and cross members (XTC models)

6 Months: All off-chair wheelchair accessories and replacement parts

Cushions & Backrests:

INVACARE

2 Years: Cushion material

* Excludes punctures, tears, burns and the removable cushion cover

Cushion & Backrest Accessories:

3 Months: All Matrx accessories

Patient Lifts:

PROACTIVE MEDICAL

3 Years: Frame

2 Years: Electronics

1 Year: Battery

* Excludes items that have been improperly installed, repaired or altered in anyway, or impaired by occurrences considered Acts of God over which dealer has no control.
