The Invacare® Matrx® Elite Back is designed to provide precise orientation within the wheelchair for optimal postural support. The attractive, lightweight design appeals to individuals with active lifestyles. An added layer of SuperSoft foam over the standard high resilient foam provides for exceptional comfort and skin protection.

FEATURES & FUNCTIONAL BENEFITS:

  • Outer Cover - Oversized cover/foam for extra comfort and skin protection. Moisture resistant and breathable. Optional privacy flap available
  • SuperSoft Foam - 1" of SuperSoft foam applied over the standard High Resilient foam for exceptional comfort and skin protection.
  • Hardware - “Easy Set” hardware installs and adjusts in minutes – adjustments can be made while individual is seated in the wheelchair. Additional hardware options available. Elite Heavy-Duty back includes extra layer of reinforcement to the back and Heavy-Duty hardware
  • Back Shell - Stylish, breathable and lightweight back shell.
  • Adjustable Lumbo-Sacral Support - Includes removable positioning pad
  • Headrest Adapter - Mounts directly onto Invacare® Matrx® Elite Back. Pre-drilled to accept headrest hardware. Headrest and adapter not included.
  • 3" contour depth
  • Easy Set Hardware fits 3/4", 7/8" and 1" diameter back canes
  • Back includes reinforcement plate for headrest
  • Mounting Pins allow Elite Back to fit 1” narrower/wider than back model. Standard/Long Mounting Pins are included with each back
  • Standard Meshtex Fabric upholstery - Cover Fabric
