Cover, Foam & Comfort

The Matrx Elite TR includes an oversized cover and foam design featuring SuperSoft HR foam layered over firm HR foam. This construction helps improve comfort, immersion, and protection while maintaining the supportive structure needed for daily wheelchair use.

The breathable, water-resistant Meshtex™ cover helps manage moisture and comfort while protecting the backrest during routine use.

Additional Positioning Options - Sold Separately

The Matrx Elite TR Back can be paired with optional lateral trunk supports to provide added midline stability, postural control, and upper-body support. Lateral supports are commonly used to help reduce leaning, improve alignment, and increase comfort for users who need more support than the backrest alone provides.

Available lateral support options include:

• Fixed Laterals: Provide stable, non-swing-away trunk support with vertical adjustment on the back shell
• Offset Fixed Laterals: Provide 3" of vertical pad placement adjustment and can be mounted higher or lower for customized support
• Swing-Away Laterals: Include a push-button swing-away release for easier transfers, dressing, and caregiver access
• Offset Swing-Away Laterals: Combine swing-away access with added vertical offset adjustment for higher or lower pad placement
• Lateral Support Pads: Available in multiple sizes for use with swing-away lateral hardware
