The Invacare® Matrx® PB Extra Wide Heavy-Duty Back is contoured to provide midline support and positioning. The Heavy-Duty Back offers width and height options with a 500 lbs. weight capacity to accommodate the needs of our larger clients. The extra-wide sizes provide exceptional support and comfort for a variety of individuals.

FEATURES & FUNCTIONAL BENEFITS:

  • Foam - Molded foam wraps around shell for maximum comfort and protection. Foam attaches to back shell via hook and loop strips for easy replacement
  • Outer Cover - Moisture resistant and breathable. Available in black or Kidabra print
  • Hardware - “Easy Set” hardware is easily installed and adjusted in minutes – adjustments can be made while individual is seated in the wheelchair.
  • Back Shell - Contoured shell provides exceptional midline support and positioning. Durable, lightweight ABS back shell includes built-in plate for headrest attachment
  • 5" contour depth
  • Easy Set Hardware fits 3/4", 7/8" and 1" diameter back canes
  • Back includes reinforcement plate for headrest
  • Mounting Pins allow PB Back to fit 1” narrower/wider than back model. Standard/Long Mounting Pins are included with each back
  • Standard Meshtex Fabric upholstery - Cover Fabric
  • Weight capacity 500 lbs.
